Dr. Sunil Subbiah is a highly respected pediatrician and neonatologist with more than three decades of experience dedicated to the health and wellbeing of children. Known for his compassionate approach and deep clinical expertise, he has cared for generations of families while building a reputation for thoughtful, patient-centered care. Through his long-standing practice and commitment to pediatric medicine, Dr. Subbiah continues to play an important role in supporting the growth and development of children in the community.

Dr. Sunil Subbiah completed his medical education at Bangalore Medical College, graduating with his MBBS in 1985. Driven by a strong interest in child health, he pursued postgraduate training in Pediatrics and completed his MD in Pediatrics in 1989, during which he was awarded the Gold Medal in Pediatrics in recognition of his academic excellence. He also obtained the Diplomate of the National Board (DNB) from Delhi.
Following his postgraduate training, Dr. Subbiah gained valuable clinical and academic experience working at HMT Hospital and later served as an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at KIMS for four years, where he contributed to both patient care and the training of young medical professionals.

In 1992, he completed specialized Neonatology training at St. John’s Hospital, further strengthening his expertise in the care of newborns and infants.
In 1995, Dr. Subbiah established Subbiah Hospital, a 26-bed multispecialty hospital designed to provide comprehensive medical care to the community. Over the years, the hospital has grown into a trusted healthcare center offering services across multiple specialties including medical, surgical, obstetrics and gynecology, ENT, orthopedics, and psychiatry.
For more than 35 years, Dr. Subbiah has been actively practicing pediatrics and neonatology, focusing particularly on congenital heart diseases in children, nutrition, endocrinology, and growth and developmental care. He has also presented several research papers at pediatric conferences, reflecting his ongoing engagement with advancements in pediatric medicine.
Beyond medicine, Dr. Subbiah maintains a keen interest in music, tennis, golf, travel, and yoga, pursuits that reflect his belief in maintaining balance and wellbeing both inside and outside the clinic.
