His work spans general surgery as well as procedures related to orthopedics, urology, and plastic surgery, making him a trusted and respected surgeon among patients and colleagues alike.

Dr. Lambodhara Anant Bhat was born in 1952 and completed his MBBS in 1978. He went on to pursue postgraduate training in surgery, earning his Master of Surgery (MS) in 1981 from Karnataka University, Dharwad.
Early in his career, Dr. Bhat gained extensive clinical experience while serving in a variety of healthcare settings. His work included practicing in a rural clinic in Karki, as well as serving at several mission hospitals including MTMM Mission Hospital in Quilon, Little Lourdes Mission Hospital, and Marthoma Medical Mission Hospital. These experiences helped shape his practical surgical skills and deepened his commitment to accessible patient care.
In addition to his general surgical training, Dr. Bhat also received training in urology and completed a house post in orthopedics, giving him valuable experience across multiple surgical specialties.

Over the course of more than 40 years in surgical practice, Dr. Bhat has performed and assisted in a wide range of procedures spanning general surgery, orthopedics, urology, plastic surgery, and related surgical treatments.
He has been associated with Subbiah Hospital for over 30 years as a visiting surgeon, contributing to the hospital’s multidisciplinary surgical services. In addition, he has served patients at Sumathi Nursing Home and Vijayanagar Hospital, and continues to consult at his clinic in Vijayanagar during the evenings.
Dr. Bhat’s long-standing experience, broad surgical training, and dedication to patient care have made him an important part of the surgical community and a trusted resource for patients seeking reliable and experienced surgical treatment.
